New year.. new me?

I have spent a lot of time thinking lately about what to do with this blog. I had considered erasing almost all my old posts that focused on CWS.. but have ruled against doing that. I'll let it stay as is... but also part of the past where it belongs.  The blog served its purpose, and I got the award I wished to win from it there at CWS... so..that's part of why I'll let it stay up.

Before moving on though, I'll talk a bit about why I left. It became very clear that the whole thing is a big pyramid scheme meant solely to line Anrol's pockets with a never ending flow of lindens. I also read Agency report, and that only cemented what I had already figured in my own head.

The last straw for me.. that got me up and on my way... was that I was IM'd by a model I had met and talked to in a group. She must have decided to look at my profile. cause the first thing she said in IM, was that I should delete all mention of CWS, along with deleting the PICKS of my CWS diploma, and that having mention of CWS in my profile would be doing my modeling career more harm then good. I erased every trace within the next 30 Min's.

Now, I'll explain why I ever joined CWS in the first place.

A long while back, Anrol posted a group message that asked for contestants to enter a photo contest she was hosting. Part of the requirement was to buy a gown she designed, and to submit two photos of us styling the gown in different ways. One of the photos was to be the full gown itself, and the second photo should show the short skirt option that came with the gown. A friend of mine helped with taking the pictures, I filled out the entry form and attached the photos and sent in my entry.

Soon I was contacted and was told my entry was picked as top ten, and that I was invited to the next phase of the contest, on her runway.

So that day arrives and I land backstage, and as soon as I rezzed in, I looked out the runway, and it became very clear in that moment, that I had no idea what to do, nor how to walk the runway. I asked other models back there, and I remember the names of the friendly ones... and I also remember who wasn't. So, I asked for help.. and some tried giving me a quick mini lesson on what to do, and I figured the best advice.. was to watch and learn.. the models that were called ahead of me. I am a fast student.. I merely needed ONE name to be called before me..and I would have learned at least the general walk and stops out there, but.. JOKE was on me... I am rather sure Anrol was notified about the newbie backstage that was clueless and was begging the others to help her... and that I had decided that I'd learn by watching the first model,or so, that went out before me... guess what? there was NO person called before me..
NOOO... I walked out there.... right past the first stop... walked a general semi circle in front of the judges and audience, and then kept on breezing my way, straight back up the runway to walk back off stage... only I picked the wrong exit to go back.
I tp'd myself backstage again, quickly changed to the next outfit, and then watched the remaining models... to see what I did wrong. Next round, I at least stopped in the right stops... stayed there for the right many seconds, before moving to the next stop... and then walked back off the way I was supposed to. Didn't have any poses, Didn't know I needed any.

I for sure KNEW in my heart, when I first landed, that I had no chance of winning, and I was fine with it, BUT, I for sure didn't need to be made to be Anrol's, and everyone Else's entertainment for the night either. I didn't deserve the humiliation... and I walked away from the experience, Hurt, angry, and very determined that I'd NEVER be interested in SL modeling ever again.

And, well That's how it was for several months, and then most of what I felt, eventually eased, other then anger at Anrol. I became determined to prove her wrong for treating me that way.

I asked a model that I knew was part of CWS for help, and she taught me the styling runway walk... (The one I had failed at months earlier) And I learned it, like all the rest of Anrols  cute lil trained  monkeys. I began entering the nightly styling contests, and rather soon I began winning.

I was informed in one of those styling contests that I was being offered a scholarship to the CWS university. And so, I accepted... and I went to every class... and made friends with several of the teachers, and I worked my ass off... to be the BEST student in that class. And I made myself proud.
And graduation rolled around and the best part of that whole day was seeing Anrol announce me as the winner of that classes best blog.

I have no Idea on if I ever proved to Anrol that she was wrong in treating me the way she did, but I no longer care either. Am rather sure it didn't faze her, cause  there's just no changing that woman, and the things she finds as funny... not so funny at all. Humor at the expense of another humans feelings is just plain awful.
So, this is my GOOD BYE CWS... message.. and I won't be mentioning them ever again in the future.

Pulse TV

Several weeks ago I went to a casting for Pulse TV.. and was selected to model on their runway for them. That week they featured the designer LD Major. It was so much fun to do my first show, and I am grateful for the experience.

Here I am, wearing my fashion for the show:

I was wearing a jumpsuit called Joey, with one of her hairs called the Armadillo, along with a pair of shoes in tangerine. I so hope to be chosen again at Pulse TV.. for another chance to walk their runway.
Thanks to Nani Xue for that chance.. and also to the designer Loovus Dzevavor. Here is the link to the TV show for anyone that cares to watch: http://pulsetvnetwork.ning.com/video/fashionfix-08-25-12-1

Ms Sacha 2012 contest..

Wish me Luck.. I have been ultra busy with styling for the Ms. Sascha 2012 contest lately, and here are my photo entries for each week:

We began with the audition on June 16th and I chose a apricot gown and styled it with a beautiful masquerade mask. At first I took photos that looked slightly twisted, until a friend told me how to correct that, and then my photos began to look lots better. This first one is very twisted:

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to the Audition for Ms Sascha 2012. My name is Eva Madenwald.
After hearing the MC announce my name, I take my first unescorted  steps to join the other guests at the Masquerade Ball.
All eyes turn towards me to take note of what I am wearing. I chose this Lovely Sascha gown called Rain, in the beautiful shade of apricot that perfectly accents my skins creamy tones, with its plunging neckline. Fine beading heavily covers the  top of the gown along with the matching opera style collar.
This off the shoulder style superbly compliments the drop waist of the skirt made of layers of exquisite organza.

Creating cold beauty and effectively hiding my identity, I chose a lovely Venetian style Masquerade mask. Traditionally, the masks were made of leather or with an original glass technique.
My Italian mask is white glass with hand-painted gold leaf around  the eye, as well as the crown, ruby red lips, and then topped with natural feathers.
My hair is  styled elegantly and swept back off my face and tied in a bun with a  selection of different plaits and twisted knots.
My jewels of Ruby and black Onyx add the perfect touch of sparkling red and black to my neckline, ears, and wrists.
I finish my Venetian Masquerade style with a  pair of simple pump style shoes, with a slight heel in a matching apricot color.

Next I wore a purple gown and styled it in a couture peacock look: The pic is still twisted a bit:

Good Afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to the competition for Ms Sascha 2012. My name is Eva Madenwald.
I chose this Lovely Sascha gown called Cassie, in the beautiful shade of Purple that perfectly accents my skins creamy tones, with its plunging neckline. Fine beading heavily covers the  top of the gown in shades of purples, roses, blues, and teals. Those colors are what inspired my look for today, The same vivid shades that can be found on a Peacock.
The daring halter style, with its bared back superbly compliments the drop waist of the matching skirt made of layers of exquisite organza.

My hair is styled elegantly and swept back off my face and tied in a bun with a  selection of different plaits and twisted knots. Topping my hair is my first touch of Peacock, feathers tucked into an offset black top hat with attached veil, giving a modern couture twist to the old style hat.
Resting on my throat is my second Peacock touch, a beautiful gold brooch encrusted with shimmery aqua blue colored opal gems, pinned on in place of any necklace.
Amethyst stud earrings touch each earlobe for a hint of purple sparkle. Matching Amethyst stone bracelets at each wrist completes my jewels with muted class.

Good Afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to the competition for Ms Sascha 2012. My name is Eva Madenwald.
I chose this Lovely Sascha gown called La Seine, in Black that perfectly accents my skins creamy tones, with its flattering sweetheart neckline. Sheered charmeuse silk creates a figure hugging top with a elegant and yet sexy back.
The Bewitching style, with its deep V 'd back superbly compliments the drop waist of the matching top skirt made of layers of exquisite Tulle for a very modern ballerina tutu skirt layer. The addition of a  sheer under skirt of spotted Batiste lends a Distinctive full gown length and yet still allows for an Enchanting peek of leg.

My hair is styled elegantly and swept back off my face and twisted into a bun. Topping my hair is my crown made up of a bramble of vines and thorns, covered in beautiful Black roses.
A Thick layer of black Roses creates a deeply elegant collar at my throat, with an attractive drop chain necklace featuring accents of more roses.

Good Afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to the competition for Ms Sascha 2012. My name is Eva Madenwald.
I chose this Lovely Sascha gown called Waterfall, in the lovely shade of Champagne, that perfectly accents my skins creamy tones, with its flattering low cut neckline.
Sheered Organza creates a figure hugging top with a elegant and yet alluring neckline.
The captivating style, with its deeply low cut back, superbly compliments the drop waist of the matching skirt made up of layers of exquisite heavily ruffled charmeuse silk, for a very modern skirt.
I styled the Gown into a Couture Wedding Gown, with the added touch of a simple, yet fabulous veil at the back of my up do. Adding a final bridal touch is a romantic wedding bouquet, made up of lovely white lilies that echo the flower of my hat, along with very light pink sweetheart roses, for a touch of color to the bouquet.

My hair is styled elegantly and swept back off my face, and tied into a bun with a selection of different plaits and twisted knots. Tilted smartly off to the side and accenting my up do, Is a over-sized bloom that serves as a hat.

Next round Anrol said things would get harder from now on, and in this round she kept her word and had all the girls style as if they were attending a funeral. The theme was a bit tough to plan around, but I love how the photos turned out. This first photo is amazing, I so love that face veil tattoo layer I wore rather then a prim veil. and I just love the expression in my eyes:

So, now that brings us up to date thus far. The following gown photos are a sneak peak at the gown for Sunday July 29th. Anrol continued on with the idea of making things harder this week, by assigning the gown colors, rather then letting us pick our own. I was told my color would be brown.

There isn't a styling card for this week yet, cause I still have to write it, and figure out what poses to use on Sunday. Wish me luck! I'll come back and post the styling card later, along with the results! I am so excited!

The last few weeks of pics, have really made me proud of my point and click abilities..! lol  I especially love the bridal pics, the close up of the funeral style pic, and these last two as well.

~ Hot Beach Finale ~

Wow... Just got done watching my first CWS finale, and what a first! Let me tell you all about it, using words and pictures!
Tonight's show was announced live through voice by DJ and Emcee wildrose.bijoux, and she did a fantastic job.

First round was Swimwear competition :

Paris Unplugged stepped out first wearing her red bikini she describes as " created to reflect femininity, luxury, class and style, as well as functionality."

Liberty Lighthouse steps out next in what she describes as " a pink and white delightfully flirtatious, yet sophisticated teeny thong bikini"

Janet Brink steps out next in what she describes "a two string design halter top with a lovely texture on the cups, and piping around to give that finished look"

Sunrae Suntzu stepped out in a bikini and hair that looked slightly different then this, and then magically, she changed, her hair fell in waves and the suit added this lil side skirt. I was amazed as I watched.

Next some of the new models on the class of May showed up to entertain everyone in a mid show dance. They looked like they all had lots of fun, and it was very colorful.

Next was the talent portion of the show with the styling theme "Exotic dancer" And let me say this, I was completely amazed at the things the models came up with. Pictures wont do any of it justice, but It was an amazing show!
Paris Unplugged entertained the crowd with a fire juggling act, while wearing this very pretty sequined red Exotic dancer costume.

Liberty Lighthouse brought out her own stage for her talent, and I was completely speechless as I watched, as so was the crowd, for awhile, all was silence as we watched her perform erotic tease dance for everyone.

Next, Janet Brink also brought out her own stage, one she named "Janet's Place". Another lovely performance, that the crowd all seemed to enjoy.

Sunrae Suntzu  totally blew the whole crowd away, starting her talent in a tame white costume with baton, and then she climbed her stage, which secretly had a closing curtain, She did a quick change into a angel costume, and then blew the whole stage up with fiery flames everywhere, as she performed another quick change, that once the smoke cleared, revealed her in this lil devil costume. She also danced as part of her talent, but it was the clever use of curtains and pyro effects that made her take everyone breath away.. The audience roared its approval!

The new models of May 2012 came out once again to perform another lil dance skit.. this time in beach themes.

For the final part of the contest, the models were asked to style a gown in Hawaiian theme, In this round each contestant was also asked a question. All the ladies did great in their replies.

Paris Unplugged came out in her gown first. She combined two gowns to make one lovely look.

Liberty Lighthouse came out next in a gown made of Hawaii's state flower, Hibiscus, What a lovely gown!

Janet Brink's gown which started as << Miss Costa Rica >> in green, and redone in a Hawaiian look by changing the headpiece and adding lei and wrist flowers.

Sunrae Suntzu's gown completely took my breath away, It had actual water flowing in the skirt, ending in a puddle of mist at the hem, and rainbows accented the look. Seeing it in pictures doesn't do it justice!

While the judges tallied their votes, a mini concert was put on by Pman Sands and his band, and then the judges joined in the fun, as can be seen by them holding up lighters mid concert!
Next Pman Sands and his band came out to perform a mini concert for the entertainment of the audience. The crowd loved them.

Laylah Lecker, waving her lighter.

Tiffani Celestalis, waving her lighter.

Pirate Debbiedoo Tigerfish, coming at you with her lighter.. lol

Class of May 2012

Yep, It is official! I made it through a rather demanding course at the University of Classic with Style ! Walking the graduation runway was a very proud moment for me.

Standing up in the Dome, and looking around at the other students all waiting for their names to be called, was a great moment. And one by one, our names were called, and we took our turns walking the runway. I loved reading each description that Anrol read as each did their graduation formation.

Pride on all the hard work it took to bring us all here together, filled my heart.

After the last student took their walk, all the teachers surprised us with a "quick change" into 70's costumes and danced, some wore colorful balls of light around them that showed only their silhouettes and others wore rainbow silhouettes. They danced to the following song . D. I. S. C. O.!

Then it came time for Anrol to announce the winner of the Best Blog award. In typical Anrol fashion, she tortured us all with a few stalls, but then she talked about how, when shed gone to pick the winner of the blog, she had only intended on doing some skimming, but when she came to the winners blog, It made her forget what she was doing in both RL and SL, as she read it. Wow.. what a compliment.. to any writer, to know that they took someone "away", with their words!
Next she posted parts of the winning blog, and wow... there were my own words! I was so thrilled.

The prize for winning blog is a scholarship to the Advanced course. Watch out class of Sept, Eva Madenwald is heading your way! lol

Next came time to announce the winner of valedictorian. Between both honors, I knew I wanted to get one, but if I had to choose, it would have been best blog, so I am completely thrilled. Congrats to the winner of valedictorian : Ania Lennie! If you felt anywhere near half what I was feeling after winning best blog, I know exactly how you were feeling when Anrol said your name!

Winner of Valedictorian also wins a scholarship to the Advanced course! Good luck Ania, when you attend!

Then when the ceremony was over, we had a best of 70's Graduation party. I had lots of fun dancing the rest of the night away!

Here we all are after we practiced the graduation formation.

And here is our Class photo! The teachers and Anrol joined us. Congrats class of May 2012 !
